Vivian Leigh as Scarlett O’Hara (Gone with the Wind 1934) - 85mm scratchbuilt in Milliput using extensive reference to photographs of the actress. All bows and ribbons created in lead sheet. Straw hat created scale thickness using spun thin wire, coiled to produce RTV mould masters for crown and brim from which resin casting were made. Micro jewellery copied and scratchbuilt. All skin tones in oils, all costume in Chroma Colour. After dress painted/shaded in white the dress design was applied using thinned green Chroma Colour as ink with a mapping pen.
               - Geoff Illsley Caftan Gown by Worth (1891) - 80mm using modified hands and re-sculptured  head from stock parts. Body and all garments scratchbuilt from Milliput and Milliput/Duro mix. Stamped velvet gown of maroon and beige painted in Chroma Colour, beige caftan Chroma with oil shading and textured oil paint white plush reveres. Hair coiffure and lace sculptured in Milliput. Drop pearl pendant earings ‘gason’ on thin wire and painted in pearl automotive paint. All skin tones in oil. Feather fan made in polystyrene using a pyrogavure and painted in Chroma and oils.

Stitching the Standard - 1/32 using Preiser Eva nude figure modified and clothed with Milliput. Based on a detail of a painting by Edmund Blair Leighton. Scale needle & thread using the finest entymology pin point and split Lycra thread. Needle basket is woven in thin wire, the flag made from the finest lawn cloth with an airbrush stencilled heraldic device and then rinsed in thin PVA glue to obtain permanent draped shape. Figure painted in Chroma Colour with oil tinting and oil finished flesh tones. 
              - Geoff Illsley Leaving for the Raid. Viking 900 AD - 1/32 using Preiser Adam & Eva nude figures and scale model accessories used for the Viking head, sword and helmet. All clothing sculpted on using Milliput with reference made to the Osprey Elite no. 3 The Vikings. All painting done with Chroma Colour and oil painted tinting and shading. All skin tones oil painted. Pose based on a painting of an American Civil war couple Duty Calls by Don Stivers.

Walks for Woman (Blackfoot 1874) -  90mm Based on painting by Howerd Terping and costume researched from artifacts in the Denver Art Museum.. Figure scratchbuilt and clothed with Milliput cut to buckskin dress pattern. Skirts filled with liquid resin to give surface strength to the thin rolled material. Textured with Plaka. All flesh tones, hair oil painted. Beadwork Plaka, and subsequently varnished. Tie strings on cradle box and fringing are slices lead sheet.
              - Geoff Illsley Pride of the Cheyenne - 80mm modified resin commercial  figure, pose altered and re-clothed except for the blanket. Beadwork and buckskin based on photographs of Blackfoot artifacts. Pony partially re-animated ‘Aliwal Lances’ horse. Saddle frame based on museum artifacts and scratchbuilt. Plaited horsehair, bridle rope and deer’s leg quirt based on photographs. Figure and pony painted in Plaka and Chroma, oils used for skin tones, shading and texture.

1st Btn Lancashire Fusilies (Somme 1916) - 1/32 using modified Scale Link components plus improvements, detailing and scratchbuilding. Trench section in area where chalk is near the surface based on reference diagrams/photos of trench construction.  Painted with Plaka & Chroma Colours with tinting and shading and flesh tones in oils.
